OBS isnt letting me remux my recordings, one of my friends used an MKV file for his POV in a gaming video we recorded, and everytime I try to remux it, the target file is the name with .remuxed.mkv instead of .mp4. And when I actually try to remux it, even if I change it to .mp4 or not, it just says "Recording Remuxed, but the file may be incomplete"

Thank you for this video, i have a canon r6 and i've been so disappointed by the overheating problems... sometimes it doesnt overheat but just having the constant worry is horrible! have you tried EF canon lenses on your panasonic s5m2? thanks, i'm debating to upgrade for panasonic. C70 and r5c are too expensive for me to justify for now... i've considered sony, but a few vloggers and content creators indicated that the panasonic workflow makes a faster workflow from shoot to post than the workflow for sony shoot to post. I believe they refer that this is the case for beginners... i'm debating since changing system, most videographers go for sony, I dont know, I do not want any overheating problems and i need unlimited recording. I wish to do podcast and streaming in the near future., Thanks!

How do you move the video's X & Y position without moving the diagonal line? The diagonal line does not stay still, making keyframing impossible 🙁

Help needed. Wonder will that work for switching between prerecorded videos. For example, in a quiz where the quiz taker answers questions shown on a screen correctly can this be used to switch to a video that shows “yeah!! Genius!!” but if they answer incorrectly, I can switch to a second video with “OH NO!!” Need this for my class event and the kids are getting feisty. If anyone reads this and responds, thank you.

A few points. You mention APS-C and full frame and suggest you are switching from APS-C to full frame but then come back simply saying it is 20mm as wide as it could go with no motion of it being in full frame mode leaving me to wonder if you just changed from APS-C to full frame, just changed the lens focal length, or both. Then it isn't clear for the rest of the videos if the focal lengths given is with a full frame camera or for APS-C/crop sensor. As your other as blueboy4625 notes you are really discussing field of view and the field of view for a given focal length is different for a full frame camera than it is for a crop sensor/APS-C camera or full frame camera when in APS-C mode. And then of course the distance the camera is from you will also affect the focal length and there are tradeoffs as far as background. That is before you get into effects of aperture to keep your background in focus or blur it out (assuming one isn't green screening or digitally filtering out the background).

Focal length is not about zoom - it's about the background warping around your plane of focus. If you position the subject in the same place and the same size by moving the camera, the photo at 24mm will reveal much more of the background than the photo at 50mm as an example. If you want an example of this, search "pictureline focal length compression" on UA-cam and watch their quick short demonstrating this (specifically the one that has the mural in the background). Also take into consideration the crop factor of your camera. If your camera is not full frame (most budget ones are not) that means that a 24mm focal length is more like a 35mm-40mm. There's plenty of calculators online to let you easily convert. The "standard" focal length we're used to on UA-cam is around 35mm, but some choose closer to 24mm, and some go more towards 50mm. Film and TV use a wide spectrum, so in the end, getting the correct shot that conveys the correct mood is what matters the most. Hope this helps out someone.

I have been able to use OBS virtual camera with ZOOM and google meet but have yet to get it to work with FaceTime in Windows. I am running the latest version of OBS Studio 30.1.2. Are there compatibility issues with FaceTime? Have you been able to get OBS virtual camera to work in FaceTime? Thanks.

I use my phone for all my video stuff, so I don't need a real camera bag. What I do use is a smallish back back to carry my gimbal, rechargers, IR binoculars, etc. I'm usually in and out, so it works well for me.

It was unclear when you started adding multiple timelines for the same project. If you have your project settings at 24 fps and you have a timeline at 60; isn't that footage going to slow down by default if you're at 24 fps.

Panasonic don't want to remove the limit. They want you to buy the S5ii if you need longer video. The record limit isn't related to heat, it's just fixed.

Downloading Studio not very intuitive. You have to use the Davinci Resolve Free Download Now link. This is the link to ALL versions paid and free. The Davinci Resolve Studio link is just to pay for and receive the key. Not to download the software. I struggled with this a bit so I hope this helps.
